My poor stable.
We have some new pet families coming to Warlords of Draenor in addition to the already announced Hydra, Riverbeast, and Rylak.

First up is this tweet in the traditional Muffinus style where he likes to hashtag everything to get hunters excited. He revealed tameable hydras in much the same way, only this time it’s Clefthooves. Yep, those big suckers you’ve hunted for our good friend Hemet Nesingwary in the past. You should be able to tame the old Outland ones, or one of the new ones as shown above (I snuck into the new Nagrand a little early with some Eagle Eye hopping 😉 ). Not sure if they’ll be a new family or part of the Rhino family as an Exotic beast. Time will tell. Makes me wonder if Mushan beasts could be added to that family as well.
Update on Clefthooves. They will be part of the Rhino family.
Next up we have Stags! This family should include the various stags found in Azeroth and Pandaria (like the one above) and also TALBUKS!
@NemesisG2 They are members of the new stag family #GetHyped — Jeremy Feasel (@Muffinus) July 24, 2014
Alright, Muffinus, I’m hyped. You don’t need to tell me that.
I didn’t have the foresight to take a screenshot of the Teroclaws when I was in Talador (and servers are down at the moment) because I didn’t expect them to become tameable, but apparently they will be! The picture I found above shows one of the Teroclaw chicks. There are also adults, which use the same model as Ji-Kun from Throne of Thunder.
@BlahBlahblabbe1 Yes! Though considering their story, maybe closer to Carrion birds or… dare I say… raptors?

Seriously, Muffinus? This isn’t a troll? You get bonus points if you actually do put these in the Raptor family, but I’ll take them either way. These new Raptors were datamined from the latest beta build and they look spectacular. I’m kind of surprised they didn’t apply this new high res skin to the outland raptors (for the extra spiky savage factor) but these look great anyway. In addition to those three colors, there are two more which you can view in the Wowhead model viewer: Green/Purple and Yellow. With the news that Tanaan Jungle (aside from the starting area) won’t be unlocked until a future content patch, I’m hoping you can find these guys outside of there as I haven’t seen any Raptors in SMV, Frostfire, Gorgrond, or Talador yet. That leaves Spires of Arak and Nagrand. Gyreworms I wouldn’t exactly call confirmed yet, but I would consider them a strong possibility. The idea is to merge them into the Shale Spider family and rename it to Shale Beast. I actually suggested this specific thing in this post. For my next trick, I’m going to predict tameable frogs and toads (seriously, there are a ton of them in Draenor, and they already spawn as a Dire Beast on Timeless Isle). Shale Spiders have an awesome suite of buffs in Warlords (Embrace of the Shale Spider, Solid Shell), but I am just not a big fan of them. It doesn’t help that there’s only one model available with just a few color variations.
@TheSlickrock Worm family is getting pretty robust, leaning towards modding shale family to be shale beast. — Jeremy Feasel (@Muffinus) July 24, 2014
It’s a good time to be a hunter. Although I’m in agreement with Darkbrew here. We need more stable slots, stat!
We need more space in the stables NOW!!!!!!
Wow, totally missed that tweet Teroclaws. Going to have to get one of those too. Great collection of pets coming our way in Warlords.
turtle++ that looks like an awesome crystal worm? *starts frothing at the mouth*
O: best news so far xD
No one but me wants tamable sea lions, I’m guessing. (Only food they’ll eat: fish!)
I want them to become tameable
i WILL TRAIN MY CLEFT HOOF TO SLAY UPON COMMAND!
What about Kodos? They’re pretty similar to rhinos and clefthooves.
The teroclaw chicks should be on tallstriders family
